Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
Welcome to Strelve Limited (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Strelve, including the website and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. If you use the Service in Australia, these Terms do not exclude any rights or remedies that Australian law says cannot be excluded.
1. The Service
Strelve provides paid Starter and Professional subscriptions for trade businesses to capture, qualify, and manage leads, as well as handle related business operations. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.
2. Account Registration & Security
- Eligibility: You must be 18 years or older, able to enter a binding contract under the laws that apply to you, and use the Service for a trade-business purpose.
- Accuracy: You must provide accurate and complete information when registering an account.
- Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.
3. Subscription & Payments
- Fees: Starter costs NZ$99/month when billed monthly, or NZ$82.50/month when billed annually. Professional costs NZ$399/month when billed monthly, or NZ$332.50/month when billed annually. The annual charges are NZ$990 for Starter and NZ$3,990 for Professional. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis. These listed prices exclude GST. For New Zealand subscriptions, GST at 15% is added at checkout and shown separately.
- Payment Processing: We use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to handle transactions. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms and conditions.
- Upgrades: Moving from Starter to Professional takes effect after Stripe confirms the subscription change. The monthly or annual price and payment are shown before you confirm.
- Downgrades: Downgrading from Professional to Starter is deferred to the start of your next billing cycle. You retain full Professional access until the current paid period ends, then paid Starter billing begins at renewal.
- Refunds: We do not offer discretionary refunds, credits, or partial refunds for unused time if you cancel or change plans during a paid billing period. Cancellation stops future renewal, and you retain access to your plan until the end of the paid period. If you believe a charge is duplicated or incorrect, email support@strelve.co.nz with the account email, charge date, and amount. We will investigate and correct confirmed billing errors, including refunding the affected payment where appropriate. If applicable law entitles you to a refund or another remedy, we will provide it. Nothing in this section excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. You retain your plan access until that date, then your account becomes read-only and new enquiries and customer-facing actions pause.
- Reactivation: If you cancel and then reactivate before the billing period ends, the pending cancellation will be removed and your subscription will continue uninterrupted.
4. Subscription Ends
When a subscription ends, your account becomes read-only. New enquiries and customer-facing actions pause until you resubscribe. If a payment fails, the account is read-only while Stripe retries it. Any unpaid amount remains due.
- Price estimators: Your estimator settings remain saved while new enquiries are paused.
- Paid downgrade: When Professional changes to paid Starter, one published estimator stays live. Additional estimators are unpublished and their settings retained. Professional-only notification and automation switches turn off; saved message copy is retained.
- Data retention: Subscription cancellation does not automatically delete your account data, lead data, uploaded lead files, or connected account records. We do not deactivate an account or delete its data solely because it is inactive.
- Resubscribing: You can choose Starter or Professional again from your billing settings. Your saved account and lead data remains in place.
5. Intellectual Property
- Our IP: We own all rights, title, and interest in Strelve, including its code, design, features, and branding tools. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service.
- Your Data: You retain all rights to the data you upload or collect through the Service (including your company logo, branding, and lead data). You grant us a licence to process and store this data to provide the Service to you.
- Estimate form templates: You retain ownership of the estimate form questions and answer choices you provide. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, adapt, and generalise those questions and answer choices to create and improve reusable estimate form templates for Strelve customers. This applies whether you create the form yourself or we help you set it up. We may make the resulting generalised templates available to other trade businesses, but we will not include your business name, branding, or other details that identify your business. We will not use your actual prices, pricing rules, margins, or pricing calculations in those templates. This permission does not cover answers submitted by individual leads, which remain lead data and are handled under our Privacy Policy.
- Strelve-created materials: Strelve retains all rights in questions, answer choices, form structures, and setup materials that we create independently or create for you as part of setup assistance. You may use those materials as part of the Service. This does not transfer ownership of your business information or pricing configuration to Strelve.
- Customer name and results in marketing: By accepting these Terms, you give Strelve permission to use your business name and logo, and to publish testimonials or case studies about your use of the Service in Strelve's public marketing. These may include business performance results, such as changes in enquiry volume or conversion rates. We will get your approval for the specific testimonial, case study, or results before publishing them. We will not publish lead names, contact details, enquiry answers, or other information that identifies your leads. You may withdraw this permission for future marketing by contacting us. We will stop new use and take reasonable steps to remove the material from channels we control.
6. Data Isolation & Confidentiality
Strelve is a multi-tenant service. Each client's data is isolated at the database layer via Row-Level Security (RLS) policies. You cannot access another client's leads, jobs, messages, or billing information, and they cannot access yours.
We treat your lead data as confidential. We do not sell, rent, share, or use it for our own marketing, and we do not train public AI models on it. Strelve staff access client data only where necessary to provide support you have requested or to investigate a security issue.
When we process personal information for you through the Service, our Data Processing Addendum forms part of these Terms and sets out our processing, Subprocessors, security measures, and assistance with privacy requests.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service:
- To violate any local, national, or international law, including the New Zealand Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 or, where applicable, the Australian Spam Act 2003 and rules for commercial electronic messages.
- To send unsolicited, unauthorised, or “spam” emails.
- To upload viruses, malicious code, or illegal content.
- To attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Acceptable Use terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
Strelve provides tooling. We do not make decisions about how you use lead data in your business. You are responsible for how you contact leads, what you quote, and how you deliver work.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Strelve shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, leads, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. This includes missed leads or lost business resulting from an enquiry or notification that is delayed or unavailable, to the extent those losses are indirect or consequential under applicable law. This also includes claims arising from how lead data is used, stored, or communicated by you or your staff.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to guarantees of uninterrupted uptime.
The Service relies on hosting, database, network, email, and other service providers. Maintenance, technical or security incidents, interruptions to internet or telecommunications services, failures of third-party systems, and events outside our reasonable control may make some or all of the Service unavailable or cause delays. We do not promise that every estimate form submission or notification will be received or delivered without delay. We will take reasonable steps to restore affected parts of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strelve is not liable for loss caused by an interruption or delay to the extent it results from an event outside our reasonable control or a third-party provider's systems.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right, guarantee, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Strelve, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights (especially concerning the processing of your clients' lead data).
10. Changes to Terms
We may periodically update these Terms. If the changes are material, we will provide notice via email or within the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
